9. Shroud of Turin

Many people think that the fabric known as the Shroud of Turin was used to wrap the body of Jesus Christ during his burial. The shroud’s history dates back to approximately 30 AD, but the Catholic Church first recognized it in 1353 AD. Scientists have been examining the shroud since 1980 and have determined that it was created in 1300 AD. Some have concluded that it is a medieval fabrication as a result of this. The shroud theory’s proponents counter that the cloth was altered to appear fresher than it actually is and that only a portion of it was investigated.
