James Cameron is undoubtedly well-known for his blockbuster films like “Titanic” and “Avatar,” but did you know that, almost 30 years ago, he was merely an unknown writer whose script for the first Terminator movie no one wanted to work on? After a while, Cameron offered to sell the script for a dollar, but only if he could serve as the film’s director and maintain creative control. On a just $6.5 million budget, the film became an enormous box office success, grossing nearly $80 million.
